Spring is nearly upon us, it is such a magical time of year. Nature is in bloom and there is the knowledge warmer weather is just around the corner.  Another thing Spring is known for is the surge in babies being born! September / October are the months for an increase in births, so with so many baby showers coming up we thought we’d give you some wonderful ideas for a Spring Baby Shower.

As Spring is such a beautiful time of year with warmer days encouraging us to be outside, why not turn your baby shower into a high tea in the garden?

Stay with your garden theme and keep your colour palette calm and soft, baby blue and pinks are great if you know the sex of the baby otherwise neutrals, greens, yellows and oranges will work best.

Try decorating your space, with white, green, yellow lanterns, décor balls, tissue fans and Martha Stewart pompoms and garlands. These block colour decorations had grace & fun to the outdoors and if handled carefully can be reused.

Plenty of fresh Spring flowers will really help set your table alive: daffodils, tulips, Jonquils, Freesias are all beautiful at this time of year. They will also bring the magical smell of Spring to your table.

It is important your space looks fresh and vibrant to really bring out the spring vibe.

If you decide to do a traditional afternoon tea it is a great idea to use china if possible. Everyone always enjoys drinking tea out of a beautiful china cup.
